Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Read these Terms carefully before using the Chronos website and services. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Chronos website and services (the “Service”), provided by Chronos (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction and be able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

If the Service requires you to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, or interfere with or disrupt them.
  • Introduce malware or otherwise compromise the security or integrity of the Service.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software and trademarks, belongs to Chronos or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except where we expressly allow it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or transfer any part of the Service.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of any content you submit to the Service. When you submit content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host and process that content only as far as needed to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to submit that content.

7. Third-party services

The Service may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronos and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chronos and its affiliates against any claim, liability, damage, loss and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way related to your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. After termination, those provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Chronos is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
